So do we! Dead is Better is a website dedicated to the best of scary. Haunted Houses, Halloween Parties, Costumes to die for, Professional Haunts, Ghost Hunting on TV, the Latest Horror Flick.... you name it! And we're focusing our findings on New Jersey sites first.
Here you will find information on local events, Halloween decoration tutorials, tips for safe haunting, reviews of the latest scary movies and reality TV ghost hunting shows, photos for inspiration, and advice for your backyard haunt.
We are posting events in calendar format now so as events arise, we will jot them down. This should make things easier for you and be able to plan accordingly.
Zombie Apocalypse! We were foiled again... no zombies roaming the streets on October 21st. However, we had a great time at the Asbury Park Zombie Walk on October 22nd! The CDC is helpful though, just in case one eventually happens. Be prepared.
What scares did you enoy this year? At our home haunt, the store-bought prop that brought the most scares per buck was the Animated Jumping Spider. It scared adults, teens, and kids. We hope to see more of these animations next year! Did you visit a local haunt or participate in a paranormal investigation? Which costume won at your Halloween party?Let us know! There are still more events during the "off" season. Check out our Calendar for details.
