Travel Channel has a hit with ‘Making Monsters’

The Travel Channel began airing a four episode series on October 2nd that will end on October 23rd.

Distortions Unlimited owners Ed and Marsha Edmunds are featured in the show, along with sculptor Jordu Schell, and Distortions comic book artist Daniel Crosier. Distortions Unlimited is opening their doors to a behind the scenes look at creating animatronic monsters for haunted attractions, rock stars, monster mini-golf attractions and more.

A MUST SEE! We love the banter, the inside access, and the creativity.

National Haunter’s Convention

National Haunter’s Convention in Valley Forge, PA from May 5th-8th, 2011

It was a weekend well worth the drive, hotel, and admission. We met a lot of great people: vendors, home haunters, professional haunters, etc. Favorite parts of the convention were making connections, informative classes, and the opportunity to check out the vendors’ goods.

Happy Friday the 13th

Sad news, creepy friends… this Friday the 13th of May is the ONLY Friday the 13th this year. So make it a good one! Have a Bloody Mary cocktail, watch some hockey-mask wearing maniac wreak havoc in the woods of New Jersey (yup, Friday the 13th was filmed in northern New Jersey at a Boy Scout camp), and pray you don’t wake up in the middle of the night watching Freddie vs. Jason.
